Susan Brooks (IN-05)
Susan Brooks is serving her fifth term in the House of Representatives. She was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Prior to serving in Congress, Susan Brooks was Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Ivy Tech Community College. Prior to that, she was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as U.S. Attorney for Indiana’s Southern District. She is known for successfully battling mortgage fraud, gun violence, drug trafficking, gangs, child exploitation, and identity theft. Susan Brooks was the first woman in Indiana’s history to lead a congressional committee.
