Michelle Steel (CA-45)
Michelle Steel and her family immigrated to the United States from South Korea when she was a young woman. She is currently a member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, and she was previously a member of the California state Board of Equalization. Michelle also served in the Bush administration and was an honorary chair of Governor Schwarzenegger’s 2006 Gubernatorial campaign. In 2019, Michelle was appointed by President Trump to the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. She has a degree in business from Pepperdine University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
