Washington, D.C. – E-PAC, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s Leadership PAC dedicated to electing more Republican women to Congress, congratulates Karen Handel and Nancy Mace on their overwhelming victories last night. EPAC is proud to have led the early support effort for both of these incredible candidates with an early endorsement and investment.
To date, 11 out of 12 E-PAC endorsed candidates in 2020 have won their primaries.
E-PAC has announced several new endorsements for the 2020 election cycle. The following endorsed candidates have met E-PAC’s tough metrics of success and have demonstrated a proven path to victory in November:
· IL-06: Jeanne Ives
· IL-17: Esther Joy King
· IN-05: Victoria Spartz
· NM-02: Yvette Herrell
“We have a historic number of Republican women running this cycle,” Stefanik said. “As Republican women continue to sweep primaries across the country, I know that we have the momentum to increase the number of GOP women in Congress on our path to take back the House. It is an honor to be working with each of our E-PAC endorsed candidates, and I look forward to seeing each of them win this November.”
E-PAC candidates have already seen resounding success in early June primaries across the country. Last Tuesday, E-PAC endorsed candidates Ashley Hinson, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Lisa Scheller each won decisive victories in their competitive primaries. This week, E-PAC candidates Nancy Mace and former Rep. Karen Handel swept their primary races to take back critical seats for the Republicans.
“I am thrilled that not only do we have a historic number of Republican women running this cycle, but across the country, these outstanding candidates are actually winning their tough primaries and moving on to the general election,” Stefanik said. “I started E-PAC to give exceptional Republican women the resources they need to run for Congress, and we’ve seen the clear benefit of giving these women early support. Our E-PAC endorsed candidates are some of the strongest Republican candidates in the nation’s most competitive races, and I’m proud to be leading the charge to get more women in office and take back the House for the Republicans.”
In addition to its new endorsements, E-PAC has also added 4 more candidates to its “Women to Watch” list:
· MI-10: Lisa McClain
· FL-03: Kat Cammack
· TN-01: Diana Harshbarger
· TX-17: Renee Swann
