Esther Joy King (IL – 17)
After earning a marketing degree, Esther Joy King heard her call to serve her country and served as an aid worker in Kabul, Afghanistan. When she came back to the United States, Esther studied law at Northwestern School of Law and served the state of Illinois in the Office of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology. Additionally, Esther joined the U.S. Army Reserve as a member of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. She was recently promoted to Captain and is assigned to the Rock Island Arsenal. Today, Esther practices law in East Moline that focuses on economic development and real estate.
