Elise Stefanik Continues Historic Effort To Elect GOP Women; E-PAC Announces First Round of 2021-2022 “Rising Star” Endorsements and “Women to Watch”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wednesday, November 10, 2021

Washington, D.C.— Today, Republican House Conference Chair and E-PAC Founder Elise Stefanik announced E-PAC’s first slate of endorsed candidates in the 2021-2022 cycle. Each of the eight E-PAC endorsed candidates have met E-PAC’s metrics and demonstrated an ability to build a winning campaign. E-PAC also announced “Women to Watch” candidates, which includes eleven women running in races across the country.

The announcement follows Chairwoman Stefanik’s historic success of leading the effort in the 2020 election cycle electing the highest number of GOP women to Congress ever in our nation’s history.

“I’m thrilled to announce E-PAC’s first round of endorsements of the 2022 election cycle. As small business owners, mothers, veterans, and health care leaders, these women make up the most impressive and diverse group of rising stars we’ve ever seen,”said Stefanik.

“E-PAC’s endorsed candidates are determined to build on the historic success of last cycle, when we more than doubled the Republican women elected to Congress. In 2020, GOP women were history makers, and in 2022, GOP women will be majority makers.

I look forward to supporting these women across the finish line in both their primaries and general elections. Make no mistake, GOP women will be the first ones through the breach to fire Nancy Pelosi once and for all.”

In 2019, only 13 Republican women served in the House of Representatives, making up only 2.9% of Congress. Congresswoman Elise Stefanik founded E-PAC to recruit, engage, empower, elevate, and elect more GOP women to office. Since its founding, E-PAC has raised and donated over $3 million for GOP women candidates.

In 2020, E-PAC helped more than double the number of GOP women in Congress in what President Trump called 2020, “The Year of the Republican Women.” 11 out of the 15 seats that flipped red were won by E-PAC endorsed Republican women.

Cycle-to-date, E-PAC has raised and donated more than $400,000 directly to GOP women candidates including through WinRed.
